Landscapes
A sustainable
landscape is a self sufficient landscape; one which conserves
existing resources and requires little or no additional inputs
like water, fertilizer, pesticides, and physical maintenance.
Creating
a sustainable landscape should begin before a new project starts.
We need to identify valuable onsite resources and protect areas
that can be enhanced. We need to explore the existing ecology
and site (soil, sun, and wind) conditions to make wise choices.
Using
the right plants in the right places will instantly reduce plant
stress and more importantly homeowner stress!
